There are a handful of organizations and resources that I feel are strongly important and I hold close to my heart for a variety of reasons. Each month, I will donate 10 percent of my earned income to one of these organizations, on a rotating schedule. I will post receipts or donations monthly. I will update as needed

YWCA is a local organization that is focused on helping women and children in domestic violence situations. They offer a wide variety of resources, counseling, and shelter. They are currently in the process of making some new improvements throughout their property, such as working on the process of building a new playground area for the children who utilize the shelter. This is an organization that has been stable and widely known in my hometown area. They have an outstanding reputation for offering help and resources to the community.
